2024 Ladies Aid Christmas Party
Ladies Aid – November 12, 2025, 1:00 p.m., Trinity Room
Opened with Pastor leading our Bible Study: We Have Received Grace Upon Grace. GRACE - God’s; Riches (favor); At (on account of); Christ’s; E Expense God’s favor and acceptance of us as He forgives our sins for Christ’s sake. Because of this, we receive all blessings through Christ. It is especially seen in His forgiving mercy and love. Members in Attendance: 12 members shared ‘how they feel cozy’. January: What is your favorite comfort food? Secretary’s Report: Micki S. Treasurer’s Report: Sharon G. Sunshine Report: Linda G. Motion by Julie B, seconded by Bev A, to approve reports as given. Motion carried. Vice President Report: Micki S. Shared 2025-2027 Mission Grant #4 $100,000. Perpetual Call for Pastors and Teachers. Set Apart to Serve is a Synod-wide program focused on forming and recruiting full-time pastors and church workers. Supplying the church with church workers is one of the highest priorities of the LCMS, since pastors and commissioned church workers preach and teach the Word of Christ through which the Holy Spirit creates and sustains faith. The demand for more pastors, Lutheran school teachers, and commissioned church workers is urgent. Weekly Prayers are included on the back of today’s Agenda. We read Prayer #1 together. President Report: Sally J. Old Business:
Closed with The Lord’s Prayer. Respectfully submitted by: Marvel Lemke, Acting Secretary |
